    I have just released core and advanced search addon, once you have those updated you can use the search shortcode to show the CPT you want: EX: 

    [gd_advanced_search post_type="gd_place"]

    Either I’m missing something or you still don’t understand what I need. I need to search by CPT yes, but I also need to be able to search by CATEGORY. As I have stated many times I need to search by these parameters:

    CPT: Locations
    Category: Specialty
    Zip Code

    I don’t think I can do that with the short code you gave me in your previous post. But maybe I’m missing something. I’ve added that shortcode to this page and it’s no different than what I had before http://rmcc.bwwtest.com/locations/

    Please have a look at your site now, I set it up for Physicians, you need to say YES to GD > Place/other CPT settings > advance search > category > show in main search bar

    Never mind the search by name. I think the Search For field will work fine for this. I just renamed it Search by Name instead of Search for. 😉

    OK, I do see that you added Categories to the Advanced Search of Physicians CPT.

    But I don’t see how to add the Category to the Location CPT (sorry).
