After adding a new CPT, new listings are not showing

Hello, we recently added a new CPT to our site and all attempts at populating the category have failed with both claimed and unclaimed listings.

When trying to add a listing as an admin in the CPT the listing is added but shows no category in the all lists fields (see attached PNG) and when trying to navigate to the page it shows as a 404 page not found.

We are running the most recent version of WordPress, the Directory Starter theme, and the following plugins:
