July 2, 2019 at 8:07 am #495841You are using gridview one as the default in the loop layout. Try adding layout=2
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_loop
You have removed gd loop actions which displays the view selector or hidden it with CSS. If you don’t want to use grid 1 you can remove it, see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/hide-grid-view-selections/#post-495070July 2, 2019 at 4:16 pm #495911what problem will this solve?
and what page are you referring to?
the directory page or the search page?July 2, 2019 at 10:06 pm #495977I assumed you were talking about the layout issue on the page.
If you are still working on which images are shown, it looks you want to display the logo as that is showing with GD Output Location?
Have you taken a look in the archive item template to see how it works?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/archive-item/
You can adjust which fields are shown with GD Output locations by adjusting the custom fields and the option “Show in extra output locations”.July 3, 2019 at 4:35 am #496004i dont have any layout issues i was experience problems with images not loading properly. i change the permalinks settings under the main WordPress settings and that fixed that issue.
my greatest concern is that this one symptom i mentioned earlier is a bigger problem than it may be. on the https://www.southfloridahealing.com/directory page i cannot switch custom post types for the category widget there is a 404 admin-ajax.php
July 3, 2019 at 11:19 am #496059You have categories that are missing icons, like in the Full listing categories, try fixing those first.
FYI map icons are loaded at actual size, recommended is 40px w * 50px h max.
If all the cats have map icons and the issue persist let us know and we will debug it further. Please include FTP in a private reply in that case.
July 3, 2019 at 7:14 pm #496139Hello Alex, this issue has been taking a considerable amount of Jacob’s time and I need things to proceed forward… Is there a more efficient means of communication we can do, either phone or a chatbox?
The directory page is the primary component of this website and we need it to be working smoothly. Thank you for the recommended pixel size, the primary issue however is not the pictures but the fact the respective categories are not loading within the gd_category widget. The loading wheel just spins and nothing else.
Please see attachment for specific error message and provide us some direction as to why it is occurring.
Thank you
