    Dear members,

we uploaded a zip with all new updates in beta version for advanced users to test them and report anything that we might have missed.

The zip can be downloaded from your account page in the download area and it’s called: all_beta.zip

Inside you will find all unpacked plugins ready to be uplaoded via FTP.
Before proceeding make sure to backup your database.

You must update ALL your installed addons, or bad stuff will happen.

###IMPORTANT### do not use any of the plugin provided on a live website. These are beta and should only be tested on staging / development servers.

Other than new version of core and already available addons, you will find 2 new addons. GD Booster and Customize Google Maps.

Happy testing and thanks for reporting bugs! (hopefully not many)

    The team

Thanks, Paolo. Do we need to manually ftp the new version when officially released or will the auto update work as usual?

    Hi Paolo,
Just tested the update, the multisite compatibility seems to be running just fine, however i had instances where add listing through sidebar malfunctioned. The step after review listing took me directly to homepage and the listing was not added. The auto completer, after adding certain entries, stopped working as well. i did a reinstall of all the plugins but after certain instances the problem started repeating itself.

Is there something i did wrong or is it a bug? I dont know, but i think that helps.

    Thanks,
    Utsav Goyal

    Hi,

You can update just the core-

You must update ALL your installed addons, or bad stuff will happen.

Other than telling it as clear, I don’t know what to say…

    Thx

I update only geodirectory because i don’t like any different upgrade addons. Because GD 1.2.7 have some bugs with duplicate meta title on categories & tags so i think just update GD these bugs can fixed. But i wrong and i lost data on new post type and can’t modify new post type. I hope you can help me fix this, thanks.

For the test website, I think the problem is due to dummy data not entered correctly. Simone already reported this bug.

Stiofan wlll debug and let you know.

For the other website I’m sorry, but New GeoDirectory with Old addons will not work.

    You MUST update them all.

    Thx

I fixed this bugs, just remove post type and remove all data on that post type. And create new post type & build new content again.

    Guys,

Want to do some testing to help out…. but my website is nearly ready for production and I am awaiting some changes…. is there any test area you guys could provide for me to test for you? Afraid I will mess up my site as it’s so close to production.

Also, when updating…. what about translation files… can i leave my old translation flies in tact as I have alot of changes in them? Or do they need to up updated (i.e. have they changed)

    Thanks a mil,

    Adrian
