    Hi,
This is an update to my previous post, We are now finding all pages are re-directing to the front page, when you try to submit a listing edit and others. We are supposed to be showing the client their updates tonight and it does not currently working.
    Any help much appreciated.
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

    1. You don’t have the places CPT set to allow adding from the front end under GD>Design>Navigation>allow CPT from front end
    2. Your add listing link does not point to a specific CPT so GD uses the first default one (th one with the lowest order ID) under GD>Custom Post types, which is the places CPT so it redirects home as its not allowed to be added.

Either add the places CPT to be allowed to be added, or make the add listing link CPT specific, or change the order of the CPT so places is not default (lowest number)

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

That makes sense, not sure what changed it certainly worked the other day. Seems good now. Can I add the CPT ‘add listing ‘ entries under the existing secondary menu. Or am I better adding them with the GD plugin?

Also can you see why the admins are only seeing some custom fields in some CPT’s. For example you only see the default fields in Food and Accommodations but you see all the custom fields in Community. To my knowledge they are all set up the same.

    Thanks for all the help,
    Mike

You can add them however u want.

Each CPT field has options to show it in what location and to limit it to a price package that is assigned to the listing, check the settings for each CPT setting.

OK, Which setting prevents a WordPress administrator seeing the fields in the CPT list page in the dashboard?

Your free Accommodation plan allows only 3 custom fields.
Change to a paid plan to see the extra custom fields.

    Thanks
