    Hi,

    Since I’ve upgraded:

Some of my CPT’s are not appearing as they should on mobile devices – see screenshot. They are Attractions, Farm Shops and Pubs an Bars.

The Compass button you click on to activate Near me is not located with the search field – see screenshot.

I get a pop up on my mobile device (iPhone 6+ running iOS 10.0.2) and desktop (Safari 9.1.1 OS El Capitan 10.11.5) indicating that my location is currently unknown – see screenshot. It works fine (sort of – see comments below) on Google Chrome and Firefox 2.

I’m seeing past events in Places i.e. https://www.alittlebitabout.co.uk/thebestplacesin/east-sussex/uckfield/music-venue/trading-boundaries-live/

My Menus are behaving erratically in Firefox – see screenshot

When I turn on Location via the compass button in Google Chrome and Firefox I’m automatically directed back to my Home page for no apparent reason when I’m viewing ANYWHERE in my website. I turn it off and everything’s fine.

I’m seeing Related listings on my pages in Google Chrome and Firefox but not in Safari

I’m getting two lots of Related Listings on some of my pages https://www.alittlebitabout.co.uk/thebestplacesin/west-sussex/petworth/national-trust-1/petworth/

What does the Enable Location Filter: do in the GD > Related Listings widget?

    My site is https://alittlebitabout.co.uk

    Kind regards

    Mark

    Hi Stiofen

I take it Supreme Directory is the Child Theme for Directory Starter.

If so there’s no update button for Supreme Directory and Directory Starter isn’t active.

    See screenshot.

    Cheers

    Hi,

The link to the “updates” page on WordPress is below the Dashboard menu.

    See image attached.

Themes are at the bottom of the page.

    Thanks

Please have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/members/markskm/downloads
You’ll see that Supreme is now 1.0.5 and yours is 1.0.6.
You will need to update using FTP and make sure to merge any customizations you might have made.

Your directory starter theme is up to date.

    Hi there,

Updated Supreme to 1.0.6 – which fixed the compass issue but none of the other issues.

I’m seeing Related listings on my pages in Google Chrome and Firefox but not in all the same Safari pages

I’m getting two lots of Related Listings on some of my pages https://www.alittlebitabout.co.uk/thebestplacesin/west-sussex/petworth/national-trust-1/petworth/

    Cheers

Is the popup working fine now?

I’m seeing past events in Places
You had GD > Design > detail > LINKED EVENTS SETTINGS > Display events filter: set to “all events”

when I’m viewing ANYWHERE in my website
Sorry, but I do not understand …

I’m getting two lots of Related Listings on some of my pages
You have the related listings tab active at GD > design > detail AND you have related listing widget in Detail Bottom section.

I’m seeing Related listings on my pages in Google Chrome and Firefox but not in all the same Safari pages
Can you give examples of that?

    Thanks

    Hi Guust

Is the popup working fine now?
No, and my home screen is the wrong size on the mobile – see screenshot

I’m seeing past events in Places
You had GD > Design > detail > LINKED EVENTS SETTINGS > Display events filter: set to “all events”
I’ve set this to Upcoming and still have the same issues.

when I’m viewing ANYWHERE in my website
Sorry, but I do not understand …
If I go to https://www.alittlebitabout.co.uk/thebestplacesin/west-sussex/south-harting/national-trust-1/uppark-house-and-garden/ in Google Chrome/Firefox and wait a few seconds it will redirect to https://www.alittlebitabout.co.uk/location/me/

I’m seeing Related listings on my pages in Google Chrome and Firefox but not in all the same Safari pages
Can you give examples of that?
If I view this page in safari I see all the related listings but I don’t in Google Chrome/Firefox
    https://www.alittlebitabout.co.uk/thebestplacesin/west-sussex/east-grinstead/national-trust-1/wakehurst/

I’m getting two lots of Related Listings on some of my pages
You have the related listings tab active at GD > design > detail AND you have related listing widget in Detail Bottom section.
In Google Chrome and Firefox I still see two lots of related listings but in safari only one set of related listings
    https://www.alittlebitabout.co.uk/thebestplacesin/west-sussex/petworth/national-trust-1/petworth/

My Menus are behaving erratically in Firefox – see screenshot

ONLY WHEN LOCATIONAL SERVICES ARE ON

    Hi,

the GeoLocation problem might be due to the fact that SSL is installed, but all your pages are still serving non secure content (http:).

You need to install a plugin like better search and replace to find all instances of your URL with http in the database and replace them with https.

The problem of redirecting you to location/me when GeoLocation is on, happens because you shared your location and told the browser to remember it. Either you enable the popup that asks users if they want to be geolocated and click no and avoid being geolocated or your should clear your geolocation browser settings: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-can-i-clear-geo-location-settings/

For the other problems, I asked to Stiofan to jump in and check everything. He’ll let us know asap.

    Thanks

I think most problem were related to your SSL problems, i have fixed that for you.
For the events being in the past, i guess it was cached, it seems to be working now.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
