Are there any negatives to changing slug?

Here is a url / slug: licensed_timber_oper/united-states/california/occidental/california-timber-operator-loggers/tomakwa-forestry-llc-banjamine-t-kaufhold/

I do not want to mess up any search functions. Can I eliminate the “united-states/” form the url without any adverse consequences?

Hi Steve,

The listing URLs can be edited here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-permalinks/#location . It won’t break the listings but it will hurt your Website SEO.
