    Hi support team,

I am just asking – if there are any know issues while using SNAP plugin from Nextscripts or extended API versions existing?

Will those submissions also work for GD listings to use then SNAP instead of soccial importer subissions?

    Looking forward to your answer.

    Best, Alex

Hi Alex, I think some users use that plugin successfully, but why don’t you try it?
I have never used it, or never checked the settings out, so cannot comment any other than that.

    Thanks

    Hi Support team,

as promised I found some issues while using SNAP plugin for social URL submission.

After adding the i.e. Nan Zhou Hand Drawn Noodle House
it is using a different location with this
wrong URL > https://www.worldcheckin.com/gastronomies/united-states/new-york/new-york-city/nan-zhou-hand-drawn-noodle-house/?utm_s within the
    XING post > https://www.xing.com/feedy/stories/2626046577
    instead of the
    right URL https://www.worldcheckin.com/gastronomies/united-states/pennsylvania/philadelphia/restaurants/nan-zhou-hand-drawn-noodle-house/

I am unsure where this comes from, as while adding a listing the address is proper set. May has this to do with formerly set New York as main city in GD > multilocations > Location settings?

Here also the URL setting screenshot within SNAP > https://www.screencast.com/t/nFKFBYEpBY5

I am looking forward to your help also to may submit helpful data to the SNAP deveopers for solving.

    Best, Alex

    Dear support team,

I am still having issues with wrong URL submissions to my social media accounts. Screenshot > https://www.screencast.com/t/lgjdr4Yh

I am not sure why the
    wrong URL > https://www.worldcheckin.com/services/united-states/new-york/new-york-city/delgado-family-tax-services/
    is used instead of
    right URL > https://www.worldcheckin.com/services/united-states/florida/cutler-bay/financial-services/delgado-family-tax-services/
while submitting to social media channels.

Can you please help me to investigate and may find out why the “new-yor-city…” (formerly priority city setup) is used instead or real link.

    Best, Alex

It could be that SNAP’s plugin DB tables are storing out of date information, and that the URL is not being updated when the location of the listing changes.

Have you already contacted SNAP about the issue?

The ‘right’ GD detail page URL is working for me. Is there a problem with the GD functionality?

For integrating SNAP, we don’t support 3rd party plugins, but if you have a technical question about how to perform the integration we can provide examples of how to use hooks and GD functions.

    Hi Alex,

thanks for respond. Well I do not know why or where these old URL data comes from, as the listings were created with the right proper country > city location selected and then been saved.

Right after the saving then the auto submit from SNAP plugin takes place and there are wrong URL data used at the submission for what ever reason.

I thought this might has anything to do with formerly old main city settings done, but as we use the gd multilocations plugin I cannot find anything wrong set.

YES, the SNAP support is also informed, but still got no info so far.

May you also have an other idea to submit again to SNAP for their investigation.

You could ask SNAP where it gets the information from, and then check that location in the database.

If you can repeat the issue, then the information must be stored somewhere.

Perhaps it is pulling it from a revision in the permalinks tables, instead of using the most recent information.
