    Hi, I’m using a translator, so sorry if you don’t understand everything.

    I was building a site on a temporary domain. I set everything up and wanted to move the site to the correct domain. I moved everything except the geodirectory plugin. There are no post types, entries, etc. created by me. Please, help me to transfer the plugin. I found a hint on the internet to install the additional Disable Real MIME Check plugin. Thanks to it I could import categories and locations but I can’t import main settings. There is an Array error ([error] => Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security.

    Settings export includes the option you select in

    WP Backend-GeoDirectory-Settings

    that export will not include Custom Post Types or custom fields.

    You are trying to export the settings and then import them to the new site? Or the listings?

    I thought that if I moved the entire site to another domain (site files and database), all settings from the geodirectory plugin would also be transferred.

    I did export on a demo domain and import on a target domain.

    Or maybe there is another way that I don’t have to manually set everything up again?

    Hi czuprkam,

    Thanks for your post. Exporting and importing the listings won’t import the entire site design or contents. You should consult your hosting provider and see if they have a better way to do this. If not, you might want to hire someone here to do this for you. https://geodirectoryexperts.com/
