Autoupdates

    Hello again. I have set all the licence numbers in the autoupdate section of geodirectory. My question is:

    – Will the plugins autoupdate from now with nothing else to do? or Will I have to update them from the plugin section of my wordpress like I use to do with other plugins?

    I want to know because I don´t want the plugins to be installed without my intervention, as it would delete all the changes I had made in the code of some files.

    You should just get a notification that they need updating.
    But you should never make changes to any of the plugin files if you can avoid it.
    Most if not all changes can be made without touching the original files.

    Thanks but unfortunately I need to modify the code of some files, to customize it. I don´t know another way to customize it without touching the code, so I have to write all the changes and evaluate each update of your plugins.

    If you know another way I´d thank you your help . I have modified among others the next files:

    geodirectory_hooks_actions
    geodir_claim_functions
    custom_functions
    add_listing
    geodir_payment_functions
    wpinv-template-functions
    wpinv-invoice-receipt
    login_frm.php

    You should never modify the code, if you need to change something just ask us how, in most cases it will just be a hook or a filter, and if not it is likely we will add a way so you never have to change core files.
