@onesa & @getawaydigital – the location page will be fixed in the next release (coming shortly)
July 11, 2014 at 7:21 pm #8232Perfect, thanks John!
Two more things… The Avada “Page title bar options” settings on Pages and Posts no longer seems to work. Also, can you tell me how to change the left and right padding for the main content and right sidebar (see attached image)
July 11, 2014 at 8:58 pm #8239Excellent John look forward to the update. You’re doing a great job thanks
July 11, 2014 at 9:24 pm #8242@john Another little css issue. The button on the search page is not configured correctly. See the screenshot below.
Thanks Onesa
July 12, 2014 at 2:57 pm #8277Hi John.
I want to alert you that the titles of the widgets are not formatted like the other. See the screenshot below.July 14, 2014 at 10:48 am #8393@onsa
I am not seeing an issue with the search button on IE, FF or Chrome. Which browser are you using?@sfamilia
You can add the following to increase the exterior padding for the boxed layout.layout-boxed-mode #wrapper { width: 1200px; }
I am able to use the custom page titles – here is one i just added:

July 14, 2014 at 3:00 pm #8418Hello John.
Thank you for your help. I use chrome and firefox as a browser and in both cases I have the same problem. What do you mean by custom title pages? I have not changed anything from the default configuration, but the titles of the sidebar are different from those of the home content section.
Thanks
OnesaJuly 14, 2014 at 3:30 pm #8421@john What I see on your site at the link below (see the screenshot)
http://dropct.com/avada/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=liberty&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=July 14, 2014 at 6:02 pm #8444I just installed your latest child theme release for Avada (1.01). I also use a different home page. When use the link “http://MySite/location it returns no map in the content area. Am I missing some setting or has this not yet been fixed in this latest release?
thanks!
July 14, 2014 at 6:38 pm #8451Hi,
did you install v1.0 or v1.0.1?
The 0.1 version fixed that problem. I uploaded it a couple of hours ago…
In case that’s what you are using, would you mind sharing a link and wp admin credentials in a private reply so that we can have a look?
Thx
July 14, 2014 at 7:02 pm #8460Everything ok now… Map is showing on /location page. I just did not have the checkboxes checked correctly in settings page.
Thanks for the help!
July 14, 2014 at 9:11 pm #8474Problem with listings when browser window is sized to smallest width and when viewing in android phones. The listing picture is resized to a non viewable size. See attached!
NOTE: Same result in Chrome and Safari. Looks really bad on android phone.
July 15, 2014 at 12:37 am #8482Problem with map displayed on /location page…
The map width seems to be maxed out at 940px. When a browser window is wider than this, the maps width does not change and end up with a blank area on the right hand side.
See attached…
July 15, 2014 at 5:57 am #8487Hi, try to set 100% instead.
Let me know,July 15, 2014 at 11:14 am #8496Hi John, Hi dnosker,
we checked the child theme on ipad and blackberry and we found that there are issues when displaying our test website on mobile devices. Correct resposiveness is lost. Both the wide and boxed layouts are not compatible with the landscape view on either devices. The right hand side of the page is cut off (as you can see on attached files 1 and 2)
If possible, we feel it may better to adapt the GD plugin to the boxed version (940px) as it can be seen here:
http://onesahost.it/rivisondoli/location
This version is correctly rendered on tablets also in the wide view.
Instead, if we use width as used by john,
.layout-boxed-mode #wrapper { width: 1200px; }
the right hand corner of the menu (where you read “attività”) goes off screen and the map is not resized to the screen width as expected by the responsive feature of Avada.
We don’t know if it is possible to step back and work on the 940px instead.
We appreciate your feedback on this
Thanks, Onesa
