    For info, checking for “geotheme.com” functions.php does appear in the security and version check areas too.
    I can possibly go through and search in all files, but surely an account restore on your domain geotheme.com, rather than re-installing everything is a preferred option for all clients.
    Thanks JohnH

    Hi guys,

    To fix please comment out or remove these 3 lines from the functions.php file:

    add_action("admin_head", "checkForUpdates");
    add_action("admin_head", "showNotifications");
    require_once(TEMPLATEPATH . '/update.php');

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Paolo,
    I removed 2 of the codes and it worked out fine to remove the GeoDirectory Advertisement. We love Geodirectory and built a great site with it along with Supreme theme. The problem is that we are happy with Geotheme for one of our sites and do not want to change anything for that one site. Will Geotheme continue working the same or will it break with updating WordPress? I paid a lot of money on this custom theme and we would hate to lose our entire business because of Geotheme no longer working if we update WordPress or something else happens to Geotheme…please explain what could happen potentially and if we can continue to use Geotheme on this one site without any issues even if we update WordPress…? Thank you

    GT has had no maintenance or security releases in a long time, in theory as long as you dont update anything GT should continue to work but you take a risk with any software that is not actively being maintained.

    Thanks,

    I have downloaded GD and am currently using the Supreme theme. None of my GeoTheme Places Listings have carried over? Only the pages have. How do I get the Places from my GT version to populated in the new Supreme Theme with GD? Also, how do I set GD as my homepage in GeoDirectory>Design since I see it in the first video tutorial but not in the dashboard in Geodirectory then Designs?

    Did you follow the conversion process? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/geotheme-to-geodirectory-conversion-tutorial/

    If you still have problems please start a new topic so we can ask for login details to check.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
