hi,
I just did a brand new WP installation with beta 14 and there are some issues with the maps.
On a listing detail page the map (click on the Maps tab) still shows the error “No Records Found Sorry, no records were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again.”
https://heldenvandewetenschap.be/test/places/buddakan/#post_mapThe side widget suffers from the same issue. Is it possible that the wrong location of the map is selected? Because in the screenshot you can see one time the map was displayed (instead of the grey background) but it showed a wrong part of the world (I had Brussel as the default location).
I have tried several themes and browsers.

June 15, 2018 at 1:12 pm #435071Hi Tom,
There is a JS conflict with our Directory Starter theme and GDv2. I suggest trying “Primer” theme or any other theme.
Thanks,
Stiofan
June 15, 2018 at 3:59 pm #435089Hi, I did try several themes including Primer, TwentySeventeen, Directory Starter and Supreme before posting. I now switched back to Primer so you can see the problem is still there. Maybe it’s another conflict? Or should I change some setting?
June 15, 2018 at 5:04 pm #435095HI Tom,
do you have right lat and lon for that listings? Please provide admin credentials so that we can have a look at your settings.

June 15, 2018 at 5:14 pm #435102Hi, the listings are the dummy listings provided by the plugin. I haven’t changed anything and there are no other plugins active.
Still, if the address was indeed wrong, it shouldn’t show a grey map and the error message should be changed as well. Maybe it could say “No valid address for this listing”

@kiran if you enable the rest api in settings the map api calls show a error in the return.
Thanks,
Stiofan
June 17, 2018 at 11:30 am #435255Great, I see it’s working now.
Now, another thing I noticed is the automatic user location detection not working in Safari. I’m pretty sure it was working before on one of my previous test installations, but now it isn’t. Don’t know if it’s related to this bug? In Chrome it works fine.
But in Safari on both Mac and iOS I get the following error when I click the hair-crossing icon beneath a location map:
(Safari 11.11.1 on High Sierra 10.13.5)
June 18, 2018 at 12:00 pm #435335If you are not using HTTPS then it won’t work anymore.
Also some older versions of safari just don’t work with it.Stiofan
