    I’m being told by the Beaver Builder community

    “If your site settings are for a boxed / fixed layout, I don’t know of a way to do this with just the theme settings. I know you can go the other way – have your site settings be full-width and then a single row can be fixed width, but I don’t know of any way to do that in reverse. …that is, without resorting to some css.”

    in response to my inquiring:

    “Hello, on this page: https://veganlinked.com I would love for the grey background in one section to go completely full width. I may want every other section like this. And/or I may want to use images now or later.

    I do not want to mess up any of the other pages though.

    So, is there a way to make just this page’s background sections/rows completely full width, while keeping everything else in the center?”

    My question, is supreme theme set for boxed/fixed layout?

    Really, I’m just trying to change the homepage and other pages/posts that are not really GD dependent. I like the supreme theme layout in respect to the archives, search, and details pages. But, I need to be able to go full width on other pages/posts… I only want to go full width with the background. Having the content boxed center like it is currently is fine. Hope I’m making sense…

    The attached image shows what I mean. The grey background behind that one section ideally would go across the entire width of the page.

    I did this on this site https://vivatequis.com/ but I’m using Divi. It even has a paralax effect.

    I would love to use divi but according to your documentation there’s some script conflicts with using divi builder. So, I’m trying to work with the tools that work best with GD.

    and on this page I would love to have more control over the background in the same way. Or, if that’s not possible make the entire background black.

    The customizer has a setting for Desktop Container Width, which sets the container overall width.

    The margins and padding for the container can be zeroed out by page or totally for the templates with custom CSS, but not for one piece of content in the flow of the container without additional custom CSS.

    Something like this will remove the margins:

    .container {
        padding-right: none!important;
        padding-left:  none!important;
        margin-right:  none!important;
        margin-left:  none!important;
    }

    Where? I’ve looked all through the customizer.
