Hi,
So the breadcrumbs are not working on the site for some reason. They appear but the links are all returning a 404 error and the search results are incorrect. Example:
Breadcrumb: doctors > united-states > massachusetts > boston > urgent-care-doctor
This page (above) should show the “urgent care doctors” in Boston, Massachusetts, USA but it shows all the doctors for some reason that are in the directory. Also, you can see the breadcrumb at the top and like I said, if you click on Boston or Massachusetts for instance, it’s a 404 Error.
It does seem that this breadcrumb: doctors > Boston > urgent care doctor
does yield the correct search results but the search engines don’t like it as much.Is there a way to have the first breadcrumb work? is there a setting somewhere i’m missing?
Thanks!
March 2, 2016 at 5:42 pm #132399hi,
did you update everything, both core and all add-ons?
Location manager should be 1.4.4.
Let us know,
Thanks
March 2, 2016 at 5:46 pm #132401I believe all the plugins are updated. I even did the force update plugin just incase. I deactivated it after i used it.
“GeoDirectory Location Manager” is currently: Version 1.4.4
I can list out the versions of what i have if you like?
Thanks,
Adam

March 2, 2016 at 6:50 pm #132454Hi,
the list of 9 doctors looks correct to me and the breadcrumb wasn’t working because you didn’t have the location switcher in place anywhere on your website and it wasn’t able to set a session.
Thanks
March 2, 2016 at 6:57 pm #132486so all you did is put the location switcher in place?
It seems to be working now. There should only be 4 results of “urgent care doctors” in Boston MA and thats what i see.
March 2, 2016 at 6:58 pm #132488that is correct 🙂

March 2, 2016 at 7:23 pm #132499that seemed to have worked. last question,
in the menu at the top, can I have the “sign in” button all the way on the right? How do i move that?
thanks
March 2, 2016 at 7:33 pm #132500Not unless you move the add listing and location link into another menu. But that theme doesn’t seem to have another menu location.
You could also place them in a sidebar.
Thanks,
March 2, 2016 at 10:31 pm #132692ok, thanks for letting me know.
I made the location switched only for the united state and it still works great.
How do I get the drop down from the “Change Location” to align left? I was able to get the background of the drop down to align left but I cannot get the drop down menu below the “region” and “City” to align left?
The reason I want to do it now is it leaves a gap on the entire right side of the site on the iPad unless I can get that menu part to move left.
Thanks!
