    Hi,

How can we select an entire page of our listings (from admin side) and edit them to place them in DRAFT mode? We have about 100 listings to do this for. Please explain.

    Thank you,
    Robert

    this is the only way:

    Export CSV
    Edit CSV
Re-import edited CSV to update listings.

    Thanks

It will work to change the status, but only published listings can be claimed.

    Thank you

GD has a built in function for export/import.

You can find it in the menu at GD – Import & Export

Here’s our doc about it: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/

If you put them in the trash, I guess make sure you aren’t using some trash cleanup that would accidentally remove them.

Ahhhh!!! I was using the import / export feature in GDF Options. Ok! Let me try this again.

    Thank you!

You want the post_status column. Set one of your listings to draft or whatever status you need and export again to see how to edit the sheet.

    Hi Alex,

So I exported ALL 137 of the Place listings since we will put 100 of them in the DRAFT mode. I was able to successfully open the download in OfficeLibre according to the instructions shared in the link above.

So I went thru the .csv spread sheet, found the Status column and have already changed the 100 out of 137 listings to DRAFT and saved the csv with a slightly different name from the original I exported.

So my question is….at this point, can I just do an IMPORT of the saved csv that contains the updated listings? Or is there something else or some other way to update all of the listings on my website?

    Please explain.

    Thank you,
    Robert

You can just import that file, but take note of https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#tips

Check the following import option: Update listing if post with post_id already exists.

    Thanks
