I imported listings into GD from a csv file and in that file, I included a relative path to an existing image in the media library.
However, instead of working as I expected by adding featured images to these listings, I created hundreds of stub files in the media library for each listing. These stub files show a file name in the media library, but are empty without an image. In GD, the import set empty featured images in these listings.
I’ve used the Bulk Actions in the media library to delete these image stub files. However, the pointers to these deleted images still exist in each GD listing as a featured image.
I can remove these featured images one by one if necessary, but is there a better way?
I tried deleting one featured image path from the database wp_geodir_gd_place_detail table, but it still shows as a featured listing when I edit the listing in wordpress.
An example of a page with a stub featured image is this: http://wordpress-197435-914241.cloudwaysapps.com/winery/california/pope-valley/aetna-springs-cellars/
Do you have any suggestions to bulk delete GD featured listings. All of the images that I want to remove have a common filename which is wine-barrel2.
I tried using a plugin called Quick Featured Images Pro, but it doesn’t work for this situation since the image wasn’t added manually to the media library.
Once I remove the manually added featured images, I’ll be able to use the default.
