Hi there,
We’re in the *really* early stages of working with GeoDirectory, but we’Re banging our heads against a wall trying to get the maps to work as we need.
We want to load a home page, offer to geolocate the visitor, then if they accept, reload the home page with the map ‘zoomed’ to the visitors location. See here… http://yourmobilestylist.uk
At the moment if they accept the geolocate offer, they’re redirected to a /location/me/ page where the map pretty-much does what we want (zooms in to their location) – but that’s not where we want them to be redirected to! Also if they browse away from /location/me/ all other maps around the site seem to default to the ‘everywhere’ view again, ie. /location/ and ‘home’ and any links back to /location/me/ seem to disappear.
Is this possible? Basically making home page maps (shortcode), and location page maps ‘zoom’ to the visitors geolocation position and not default to ‘everywhere’, once their geolocation is known.
Thank you 🙂
