    Greetings,

I have created a new Custom Post Type area. The picture is attached of this.

When you add a new custom post type, it automatically adds in a bunch of fields. These fields include things like twitter, Facebook, etc.

    I have some questions:

    1. Can I hide/delete the fields I don’t want or need?
    2. Is there a way to do this through the plugin, or a way not to effect core files?
    3. Can I customize the add listing page? Meaning, can I add in code to “section” things off. Such as basic info, contact info, etc. To customize this more.

Please let me know as this is important in our development.

    Hi,

you can enalbe/disable default add listing fields for any custom post type via prices and payments addon. FOr each price you can hide/show any field.

To customize the add listing page, you can do that via the use of action filters and hooks in your theme functions.php file or by moving the add-listing template from geodirectory/geodirectory-templates inside your child theme and modify it to suit your needs.

Let me know if you need further help with this.

    Thanks
