Correction to title of post. I “thought” the post did not post but it did..
I attempted to add a CPT Other Business listing and got the error listed above. Then I went to the front end and discovered it was posted. I used a coupon code for the Business CPT.

I then went to test an event to link to the business listing Message Mosaic. (Attached is a pic of what became visible) Apparenty, not only did it get added but it got added three times with no confirmation that it was even posted.

Really, I am not able to promote this site.

The first issue a bug in WordPress version 4.7.1. Please install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-real-mime-check/ as a temporary fix. More info here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/import-issue/#post-341940

Past events do not go to trash, only expired listings can be set to go to thr trash.

If you want us to review anything, please post admin credentials.

    Thanks

Lack of such a feature to move past / expired event to trash that do not renew creates extra work and non-significant events that are stale and outdated. It would be worth custom work to have this feature created because users/visitors would get tired at looking at OLD non happening events.

Kind regards and thank you for the help.

Past events can be hidden from the frontend by selecting “upcoming” in the Event Settings.
When the listing itself expires, you can set the system to move the expired listings to trash.
    Thanks

Thank you I will change pages and widget settings to the upcoming.

Where in system is the Move expires to trash please?

    Kind regards,

Also, some people have suggest that I may want to just have one search field instead of three in the search area like some other sites do.

I am contemplating deleting all CPTs and relabeling “places” to some other name and put event search in the main navigation bar.

When they are searching they do not understand to use the dropdown menu. Do you have any suggestions?

    Thanks

Oops, my mistake. You can set your price packages to expire, then they will go to draft.
I was confused with GD > General > General tab > User deleted posts go to trash

Most people do simple searches, so less CPT and less categories makes sense to me.
