    Hi Guys

I am new to Geo Directory. As of this post, I purchased yesterday and spent a number of hours attempting to get it setup correctly.

I hate to say it, however I ran into a number of challenges and I am hoping that we can get them sorted out.

I am really excited to use the plugin.

We have a very active LIVE site and I am attempting to add the directory as a feature on our system.

The first challenge that I am having, is that I cannot get the MAP to show up at the top of the screen on the directory homepage.

The directory is NOT the homepage of our site. It has it’s own “first page” and I am using that page as the base for all the directory activities.

I have imported all the cities from the USA and I have setup a first listing in order to get things showing up.

There are things showing up, however the MAP and SEARCH function will not appear on the page.

    I am using X-Theme.

This is the page that I have the directory set to.

Thanks in advance for your assistance with this.

    Hi,

the setup in gd > permalinks was wrong.

If you are not using the GD Home page as your website home page, that page is not used at all.

The directory home in that case becomes the location page.

You are also missing the Lsiting Success page and that will create problems if someone tries to add a listing from the front end.

In addition, you had everything ticked in design > map > Show / hide post type and category on map, which means eevrything hidden and that hides the map.

Now there is a CSS conflict between that X stack (only integrity is fully compatible) and the map css. Let us know if you need help fixing that or if you can proceed on your own from here.

    Thanks

Thank you very much for your help.

Regarding the CSS conflict, I am using X-Theme with the Integrity stack.

Is there an issue I should be aware of and where would that issue show up?

I’m very sorry, I’m not sure why I was not seeing it correctly before, but now I do.

Everything seems to be working correctly, sorry for the false alarm.

    Thanks

    No Worries

    I have a conflict SOMEWHERE.

The backoffice settings are jumbled and not accessible.

    It is a CSS conflict.

I have copied my site to a staging server to figure out what is getting in the way.
