Cannot set the address

    After In entered the GPS coordinates I got this error message –

    “A numeric value is required. Please make sure you have either draged the marker or clicked the button: Set Address On Map”

    I entered the actual street address and then clicked on the button to set the address but it was nowhere close to the proper location so I dragged the pin to the proper location but it kept snapping back to some unknown position. I got the GPS coordinates from another website that includes a Google map with the pin on the right location.

    I don’t know what I am doing wrong.

    Your registration is disabled so I cannot see the Add Listing Form.
    I am guessing that the location is not in your default location, and that is why you cannot add the location. But if you can post your admin details in a private reply, and the address details of the new listing, then we can have a look for you if we need to.

    I meant that users cannot register on your site, so I could not test the Add Listing form.

    I am a bit stumped. Google thinks all places in “Baños” are in “Baños de Agua Santa” so that is why it does not allow you to add the addresses.
    But you cannot set the default location to Baños de Agua Santa, it keeps going back to Baños.
    All I can suggest for now is to change Baños in the database to Baños de Agua Santa, and I will escalate this to be looked at after the weekend by one of the developers.

    I wanted anyone to be able to add their own listing without joining the site. Is this not possible?

    On the address thing I just wondered why the Google Map comes up perfectly for them on one of the hostel sites?

    It is preferable to just use Banos and not the longer name if that is possible. Again, the other site showed it as just Banos.

    Appreciate if you can answer my other questions.

    Listings cannot be added without the submitter being a WP user, that is how WP works.
    Let’s wait for the developer for the other questions.

    Hi,

    We have set the language for the map to spanish, so the map text is for locals.

    In set default location if you drag the makrer it changes the city also.

    By doing this, we could set it as Baños de Agua Santa.

    We assume this is ok?

    Obviously I would prefer just Baños but if this is what I need to do make the mapping work then I’ll live with it. Thanks for your help.
