Cannot Update Default Location to not include City

I have just started using the plugin and maybe I am stupid, but I cannot even add a listing.

I have set the default city as Melbourne, thinking that would include all of Melbourne, not the CBD. Now when I try to add a location in the suburbs of Melbourne, I get an ever repeating popup message saying “Please choose any address of the (melbourne) location.” and I have to quit the browser to get rid of it.

I tried updating the Default Location City to nothing, but it won’t let me save without a city in the field.

What to do?

You will need the Location Manager addon: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/
The plugin cannot work without a default location, and in Australia the Google Map API considers every suburb or town to be a different “city”.
So Melbourne is a different “city” than Richmond, or North Melbourne.
Because all locations are determined using the Google API that is the only way it can work.
