Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.
February 16, 2017 at 5:53 am #361920Hi Glenn,
Please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look. Also, tell us which plugin/addon/theme you’re trying to install. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Thanks!

Themes are not plugins.
ThanksFebruary 16, 2017 at 7:54 am #361939is there a setting where you can just change the look of the directory rather than the total website?
February 16, 2017 at 8:15 am #361944Hi Glenn,
It depends on how you’d want your directory to look like. Some changes can be done through custom CSS and some with built in styling options. Have you seen some of our themes that are built specially for directories? https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/category/themes/
Thanks!
February 16, 2017 at 8:41 am #361948Hi
and again thank you,
I go to geo theme capatability and click on one of those and try and import it but everytime I go save it ends up stuck on my one pro custom which is the theme of my website. I would like another theme just for the directory to use in my website not as the theme of the website.
sorry i am possibly not getting what you’re saying
February 16, 2017 at 8:51 am #361953Hi Glenn,
Sorry, I think both of us are misunderstanding each other. Anyway, I’d like you to know that you can only choose one theme for your Website. Can I have the login URL to your Website?
Thanks!

I’ve just taken a look at your Website and it looks like you’re using a premium theme. Upon inspecting the directory page, it looks like it requires some adjustments to fix the layout issue. Check out this screenshot http://prntscr.com/e9e5zs . Is this what you’re trying to fix? Or, do you mean you want to have a different look in the directory homepage? If you are, you’ll probably need some knowledge in custom CSS to redesign it. Let me know what exactly you want to do here and we’ll try to help you with this.
Thanks!
February 16, 2017 at 9:16 am #361965Hi
I absolutely think you guys are great.
Home page:
I think it looks just a bit messy and I wanted it to have a more professional looking theme for the directory home page than it does now.
You are right I don’t have any CSS experience.
I actually started the website as a challenge for my students to learn new initiatives and building a website was mine. I’ve learnt heaps but the CSS stuff is too technical?
any help would be appreciated but if it takes too long i will battle through
February 16, 2017 at 2:29 pm #362034Hi Glenn,
Thanks for your reply. I’ll leave the CSS styling for you and I’ll just help you with the layout. So, if you look at this page http://www.excusebuster.com.au/business-directory/ , the GD layout is broken and to fix this. Insert the custom CSS code below into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS.
div#geodir_content { float: left; } #geodir_wrapper { width:90%!important; margin:0 auto!important; } .fxd-header { width:100%!important; }
