Hi, as a user I am trying to change my location and then click on a category and only see places from such category/location but for some reason the location gets wiped once I click on a category. I am unsure if such setting is from a widget or a geodirectory option.
Also, I would like to know if it is posible to see in the map all the places available in a location for a categoy using grouped markers not limited to the 10 listings shown as text.
Thanks,
EduardoMay 15, 2017 at 5:53 am #378325Hi Eduardo,
Sorry, I’m not getting this, could you elaborate a little bit more regarding your first question? As for your second question, you’ll have to this “Marker Cluster” addon https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/marker-cluster/
Thanks!

May 15, 2017 at 6:04 pm #378424Hi Eduardo,
are the category links custom links or are they from GeoDirectory. If they are custom links, that’s the issue.
Let us know.
@scott this is the opposite of you describe that is how GD works by design…
Thanks
May 15, 2017 at 6:15 pm #378425I don’t know if they are custom permalinks !

May 15, 2017 at 6:28 pm #378431Hi Kor,
Elaborating about question 1: when I select change location in the menu bar using a desktop pc (not geolocated) the homepage changes and shows the city name in the search for area but if later I click in a category it returns to no-location based listing. I would like to know if there is a setting so that when the user select a location it is kept for any category you search for.
Regarding your answer to question 2 I will try it and let you know.
Paolo:
The category are Geodirectory created, not custom links. If you need my admin credentials let me know.
Thanks
May 15, 2017 at 6:44 pm #378433That would sounds like a caching issue. Please provide a link, admin and FTP credentials and we will follow up from there.
Thanks

Thanks
May 16, 2017 at 3:12 am #378491@paolo: Thank you, now it is working perfectly.
@Kor: I already have the marker-cluster and it works fine in the homepage map but I don’t show that map in the homepage in order to reduce the loadtime but I would like to know if it is possible to do the same in a listings page map since it only shows 10 places at a time (the listings shown at the left content section). i.e. https://celebraciones.com.mx/places/salon/
Thanks
May 16, 2017 at 8:49 am #378530The number of listing on the category pages depends on the WP setting under general settings,
Settings>Reading settings>Blog pages show at mostThanks,
