    Hi:

For my site: wackytrips.com I’m using Wpgeodirectory + Supreme Theme (child theme).

In Geodirectory >> Place Settings >> Advance Search, Category appears on left, I add to right, save, and it goes back to the left when I refresh and never works on advance search.

i.e. I’m trying to set Categories to appear on advanced search, but it doesn’t let me Save that .

When you put the category on the right, and save…. then go back and it is on the left again. Category field – when I choose to “show option in filter”, this will not save so can’t get it show in advanced search.

on the error console it throws an error when i try to put the categories to show in advanced search:

[Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) (admin-ajax.php, line 0)

    Can you please help??

    Thanks

As per that post: It is leading to a 404 page, i suspect there is a server rule preventing the post value “VARCHAR” please ask your server admin to check.

If we need to check anything else, please post your WP admin details in a private reply.

    Thanks.

Ok, but one question, what should I ask the hosting company exactly to do??

    Hi,

ask them why saving a form input with value=’VARCHAR’ doesn’t work while if I change the value to VARCHARx it works.

Probably they set some strange security measure on the server.

If you copy Stiofan’s post and they check the jsfiddle they will understand.

    Thanks
