Not sure what you mean with: How do I only display 6 categories without the map legend?

Go to GD >> Design >> Map >> Show / hide post type and category on map

and tick the catgeories you don’t want to show on the map.

You can add the CSS to the child theme’s style.css or at GD > design > scripts.

Are you using Supreme? That theme is a beta and there are indeed still bugs. This one has been already reported and a fix will be available in the final release.
