On my site http://tasmanpeninsula.com.au/wp/ – I have the popular posts category widget which give me all the category links (showing at the top of the home page), so that visitors can click on a category of either: Business, Stay, or Eat, etc to pull up all places in the Region of Tasmania. But the link doesn’t return a result (but there is a count).
It must be how I have set it up. Everything else about the directory listings and claim function are all working.
Any help is much appreciated.Thanks

Looks like you’re using older versions of the addons. You need to install WP Easy Updates: “The plugin WP Easy Updates is required to check for and update some installed plugins, please install it now.” See https://wpgeodirectory.com/wp-easy-updates/
Thanks!
January 4, 2018 at 11:28 pm #411472Hi Kor,
I tried to follow the instructions:
To do an automatic install log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.
In the search field type Easy External Updates and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found the plugin you install it by simply clicking Install Now.However there are 500+ results. The closest name was “Easy Updates Manager” which I have installed, activated and now all themes and plugins are up to date.
Was this the correct Plugin?
I suspect not as I did not get any of the geodirectory notifications as shown in your article.
And there is no change with the issue of categories. I have included a screenshot of the result I get when I click on the category of “All Business or Service” from the home page/directory home.
Thanks
ChrisJanuary 5, 2018 at 7:22 am #411496Hi Chris,
I just installed the correct WP Easy Updates plugin for you and could you please manually update the addons using FTP? The current version doesn’t seem to support the Wp easy updates plugin.
Thanks!
January 5, 2018 at 11:43 am #411522Hi Kor,
I see via my CPanel File Manager that my GD is already on the latest version 1.6.25
I have manually uploaded and reactivated Location Manager, now on version 1.5.62I am unable to get a download for Claim Listing as I purchased this through themetailors in December15
Is it possible for you to enable a download link to this add on via my account so that I can get this updated too?I can see no change to my original problem yet, hopefully an update of this latest component?
Thanks
ChrisJanuary 5, 2018 at 12:00 pm #411523UPDATE – the problem has resolved – categories are now displaying entries (it was my mistake – I had not yet moved the renamed old plugin from the plugin folder, which threw an error after activating the plugin)
However, my Claim Listing add on is on v1.2.1 and should be 1.3.22 so it would be good to have access to the latest download if possible.
Many thanks

January 7, 2018 at 3:26 am #411787Hi Stiofan, I can see the Claim Listings in the download section now, however when I try to download it, I get this message:
You must have an active subscription to Claim Listings in order to download this file.
Thanks
ChrisJanuary 8, 2018 at 12:34 pm #411910Hi Chris,
