Hi,

We have category pages and none of the category pages are showing:

1> category page title
2> Breadcrumb

attached is the screenshot.

also we are using yoast SEO by disabling the GD title and meta.

But in GD Title and meta we have already put in the %%category%% in the title box.

Still no display.

Pls. help

After putting the css, it still does not show the category. rather it is showing %%category%%

Pls. find the screenshot, meantime have remove the css as website is live.

Hello,

you are using Yoast for Titles and Metas. You can use either Yoast or Geodirectory for this.

If you want to use GD, then go to GD – Titles and Meta and select “Disable overwrite by Yoast SEO titles & metas on GD pages”

We will not be able to help you with a custom plugin to “to put variable in widget text area…to generate dynamic content for every category page” because we do not undertake custom development or custommizations in the forum here.

Hi Alex,

The variables are very much working in Yoast SEO. Therefore, if you see at backend we have used variable in meta title and description to generate the Meta.

Issue is why is %%category%% is not working while %%title%% , %%in_location%% etc etc all are working.

If this %% Category issue is solved then one of the code which was shared by one of you will able to bring the category value in listing page.

If you are using Yoast, you will need to use Yoast to set the titles and meta.

Hi,

Sorry crossed checked 10 times the yoast panel but i’am unable to find any place in yoast SEO to put page title. Also for breadcrumb, it is activated and clearly putin the data then also breadcrumb is not coming.

Pls. help.
