Category not auto selected

Hi,

I’ve noticed that when someone selects a category from the category widget that when they arrive on the category page the search bar does not select the category.

It selects the CPT automatically but the category is blank.

That’s my UK vets page but the category in the search is blank.

Should that not auto select vets as its on vets?

It’s turned what should be a simple type in your post code to narrow the search into 2 clicks plus the postcode.
