Category on sidebar

    I am using Places and Events. I want to have my Places Category List to be on the right sidebar. It looks good on the Listing pages, however, when you click a category it takes you to the correct page but the right sidebar is empty. I can’t seem to figure out how you fill the right sidebar of these extended pages.

    I did create a CUSTOM widget that has all the categories and it works fine EXCEPT it also shows up on all of my Events pages too. I want to keep Places and Events separate and using the right tabs on the GD-widgets has helped with this. The one I created is custom so it doesn’t offer this option. I just don’t know how to to fix this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Please add the “GD > CPT Categories” widget to your “GD Listings Right Sidebar” section.
    Make sure you do NOT tick “Don’t filter for current viewing post type”.
