    Hi there,

When a user searches listings and the results for the search come up. I would like the “category” to show below the title of the listings. For instance some of my categories are “photography studios” and “costume hire”. If a user searches all places and the results show with their photo and title I would like the categories to show also.

I hope this makes sense. Any help would be awesome:)

Add this shortcode (or equivalent block) to the detail page at GD > Settings > Pages > GD Detail Page:

    [gd_post_meta key="post_category"]

    Thanks

    Hi Guust,

Thank you for your reply. I already have it on the GD Detail Page. I am hoping to get the “category” showing on the GD Archive page? If not its the GD Archive Item Page. I have attached a screen of the page I mean. I want it to show below the image of each listing.

    Thank you for your help

You can add the same shortcode to the GD Archive Item template

Sorry just quickly. I have realised that my “category” that I wanted showing on the GD Archive Item Page is there which is good.

But. It is sitting on the same line to the right of the links (facebook, website etc)
How can I get it to be on the line below it and aligned to the left?

I have attached pictures of my GD Archive Item backend and website page to help.

I have used the code as provided by yourselves

    [gd_post_meta key=”post_category”]

Thank you so much. I am learning a lot from you guys.

Use the additional shortcode builder options for alignment, etc. Use the blue button to reveal all the advanced options.
