category to sub-category

    Hi,

    I need users to be able to come to a directory see 6 ‘major’categories, the click on the one they are interested in then be offered a set of sub categories. On clicking one of these sub-categories the list would display those listings. Is this possible?

    Have a look at the CPT Categories widget.
    That should do what you want depending on the settings you use.

    The widget looks good, unfortunately it leaves everything open by default. So I have a string of 6 categories and all there subs running down the page. I need them closed until clicked.

    Make sure to add the widget to the Listings pages and use the following settings:
