CAtegory tree not available when adding new place

Hello, I have added place categories in a hierarquical order, but when I try to add a new place I only get the first level categories in the combobox, is this the default behaviour? I’m using v1.2.7.

Only first level category is available when adding a new place:
How can I associate child place categories to a place?

Anderson FortalezaOk, I’ve found the solution, I had to go to Geodirectory > Place Settings > Custom Fields > List of fields those will appear on add new Place listing form > Category (taxonomy) field
There I can set the Category display type option to one of the many options avaliable.
