Hi all,
Is there a way to activate my position in the map (show my own position) so i only show what is close and my position is in the center of the map? right now when you run home you go to the center of the city but not my actual geo position,
Here is my site, is in development, just one week in this project, thanks
April 24, 2020 at 5:04 pm #542336Hello,
you can use the “Near Me” functions to see a map centered on the user.
Trigger that through the search bar to see search results, or the Near Me button to see it on the location page.

https://aquiluegoluego.com/location/near/me/19.0414848,-98.27450879999999/Where /location/ is the slug of the location page.
Check to make sure you have created a location page in
GD – Settings – Pages – Location
If it doesn’t exist, create a new page and then add the default content.

May 6, 2020 at 2:18 pm #543397hi alex,
thanks for support, im moving, now i have to polish navigation, the idea is to make it superfast to find anything so people rather use this than normal google maps
anyway, I was seeing the demos GeoDirectory has of the themes and they run lighting fast… I’m hosted on shared godaddy (mexico) with a 1 giga shared, 2 CPU and they’r not that fast
Can you provide hosting? or can you suggest where?
Thanks and good day
May 7, 2020 at 6:17 pm #543409Hello,

another issue:
if you go to https://aquiluegoluego.com/location-2-2/puebla/atlixco/
you will see that i have many locations but the count on the category at the bottom is ony one for one category, the problem is that if I filter that category display to show only the ones that city has it only shows one and not the others
what im doing wrong here?
thanks so much

May 11, 2020 at 4:12 pm #543436Hello,
If you have imported, you may need to run the GD Term Count tool to update the counts.
GD – Status – Tools – Term Counts – Run
If that isn’t the issue please post a new ticket here so we can look into it further. This topic about the centering of the map is resolved.
