    Hi there,

I’d like to change the output of the gallery in the images tab of the listing detail page.

I’d like to use the default WP gallery output, as now it doesn’t pick the thumbnail as preview but the original picture making the page heavier to load. Would that be possible? Could you give me some directions?

    Thanks a lot,

    Simone

This should not be needed as the images are loaded mostly via ajax and as responsive images.

Though the output is controlled via the shortcode in the details WP page template, you can add a argument “image_size” like:

    image_size="medium"

You can use any WP assigned image size string.

    Hi Stiofan,

thanks for your answer! It#s not really clear to me where to add the image_size argument, could you provide an example?

Also the images may be responsive, but that wasn’t my point.

My problem is that the thumbnails of the default images gallery (e.g. http://antonella.simonemontanari.com/guida-ai-produttori/nuovo-produttore/ ) are actually the full size picture.

    Thanks a lot,

    Simone

Ah, for some reason i thought you were referring to GDv2, not GDv1, my bad sorry.

Those images are loaded in full but at upload we limit them to 800px width, you can increase this but not lower it at the moment.

You will have more control over this in v2, sorry for the confusion.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

ok thanks, then we’ll wait for GDv2! I’m happy that you’ll improve that.
