    Is it possible to change the Search For and Near titles in the search bar?

    Yes, its just the text. Will this change then when I update the plugin in the future?

    If you follow the instructions from this article https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/ , you should be able to keep the changes when you update the plugin.

    there is an easier way to change those without translating.

    The options are in Design >> Search.
