I believe that this is an issue with the encoding of your CSV file.

When you open the exported file, please use UTF-8 encoding, and save again with UTF-8.

Then try your import again.

the process to try:

Export from the directory
Open the CSV file that was just exported
Move your data into that file.
Save as UTF 8 encoding
Upload to import

If that doesn’t work, reply with your admin login, ftp login, and the CSV you tried to import from the process above, and let us know what your results were.

So, the errors are from blank title?

How about “Replace Title 1” and fill-down so the next row is “Replace Title 2”.

few things that I see by just opening the file.

1) post_author is a mandatory field. Must enter the ID of the author. Admin is normally 1

2) The default_category should be also present AS post_category.

3) Next colum tags now has the post type, the post type has the post_status and so on. You need to mve the content into the right column.

You shouldn’t use Excel and probably not even Google Doc. These tools are not made to generate and handle comma separated files. You should use Open Office or Libre Office as we suggest in the docs.

Other things that are wrong. Regions cannot have N/A or abbreviations.

You cannot use 0 as lat or lon.

geodir_contact (phone numbers) are full of errors like this: 4.41E+11 (these are normally caused by excel)
