child theme, custom listing-detail.php : dealing with custom post types ?

hi there,

previous discussion taught me how to use listing-detail.php in a child theme to customize my places detail page.

problem is now that i am using different custom post types with geodirectory : can i use a different file specifically for each post-type, or do i have to deal with only one file listing-detail.php and ” if (post_type()==”) {} ” statements ??
