Claim Listing Page Customization

Hello

1.) For the ‘place description’ field, can I make that just a simple field where the person claiming the listing does not have the option to change font styles, insert links, make bullet point lists, etc.? Basically I would just like a text box the same size as it is currently minus all of the customization options.

You can enable/disable the editor for the description field in the price package GD – Prices and Payments – Prices – Package – Disable editor? – Yes

2.) For the ‘Category’ option, we are only allowing one category per listing, so can we remove the ‘set ________ as default category’ option after they select their category from the dropdown?

You can adjust the field settings at GD – Place Settings – Custom Fields – Category – Category Display Type – Select (Ajax Chained is the type that allows setting of default category as a multiselect).

3.) The region and city is currently displaying our default location by default… is there any way to have the region box default to ‘Region’ instead of ‘Florida’ and the city box default to ‘City’ instead of ‘Boca Raton’?

No, there isn’t a setting for that. You could potentially hide ‘Florida’ with CSS but that would not be useful if your user is trying to claim Florida. I will flag this in case the developers have an easy fix.
