    Hi,

    How do i add packages when i claim a business? right now it only shows package where the listing was created.

    We’re planning to add 500 business listings manually and have the business owners claim the listing and select a package (yearly, 3 years) in the form. Is there a way to do that?

    Hi Brett,

    Thanks for your post. Claiming a listing will allow you to choose the available packages that you’ve created. Navigate to GeoDirectory – CPT (Places) Settings – Packages – Advanced as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/claim/#settings

    Im using v2, ive set everything i can. I only got 1 CPT with 4 packages.

    In this screenshot http://prntscr.com/og4eku i’m claming a listing which is under FREE package. what if i want to claim it under a premium package? e.g 1 year

    The setting you want is in Places -> Settings – Packages (tab)

    Then choose each package and adjust the field in the screenshot.

    Make sure you show advanced settings so you can see it.

    This option allows you to make some strategy decisions: maybe you don’t want people with a free package to claim a free package, or, you only want to allow the highest package.

    When you set the listing up, then you can always choose a package. Some members make the new listings a sort of 6 month freemium, then don’t allow new claims to claim that same free package. Lots of options with GDV2.
