    Hi,

I claimed a free listing using a paid recurring package.
An invoice is made for the initial payment, in paid status
But the claim is rejected by the admin

Now, the listing author is still the original author, but the package associated with the listing is the paid package, and the custom fields/ settings as per the paid package are available to the free author.

Also, the subscription in the name of the rejected claimant is still in active status, so i suppose the recurring payments will be charged to him, even though he does not own the listing.

Pls advise if this expected behaviour, and so, does a process to (1) refund the initial invoice (2) refund initial payment in the payment gateway (3) cancel the subscription (4) revert package to original package, needs to be done manually by admin in case a paid claim is rejected?

    thanks, Vivek

Rejecting a claim that forced a payment will not take care of canceling sub, downgrading the listing and refund.

That should be done manually, but who’s going to pay to claim someone else’s business?

    This would be a first.

    Hmmm…you’re probably right!

That is what i like about GD- besides the great product, and fantastic support, you also help bring things back to focus when one is perhaps going on a wild goose chase.

    thanks!
