    Hi Ike,

that theme looks very unorthodox in the way it loads elements. I asked to our lead developer to see if we can make it compatible.

He was on short vacation till today, so he’ll look into this tomorrow and let you know.

    Thanks

The category and details page seems to look ok, but the map prob you should contact the theme developer. There are JS errors that seem to be related to the theme bootstrap file:

Uncaught Error: Bootstrap's JavaScript requires jQuery
script.js:2 Uncaught TypeError: jQuery is not a function

Again please ask the theme developer about those.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

The theme does not follow the normal way of building a WordPress page at all, it has no header.php or footer.php and does not add JS and CSS in the correct way. Making this theme compatible would be very difficult because of this.

    Have you considered another theme?

That’s fine, I decided to instead use ACF custom fields and lock to article to the use essentially only allowing them to update the ACF fields, or their business. This then feeds into everything else I need them to be able to do. I have uninstalled the software and set the permissions back. This is very disappointing. I appreciate the attempt, however there are many sites that will be unable to integrate in. Please let me know if I will qualify for a refund or not.

    Respectfully,

    Ike

    Hi Ike,

WordPress makes it very easy to make pages and templates in a modular way but that theme just does not do it the right way, it’s not that integration can’t be done it’s just that each page type would need its own template made up which would not be the case if they had done things the WP way.

If your purchase was in the last 30 day and you are not happy then you qualify for a refund 🙂

Please let me know if you would like me to process a refund for you or if you want me to try and make up the templates for the theme.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

I would appreciate a refund at this time. I have removed all of the Geo Directory plugins etc from my site and have decided to go a different route at this time. This allowed me much better flexibility with for my customer.
