    Hi,

In the future, I am considering to add to my GD site some other plugins dealing with registered users. For example: PeepSo for Facebook like social network, MemberPress for premium content, bbPress for forums, WooCommerce for ecommerce, Ignition Deck for crowdfunding, AWPCP for classifieds, etc.

But I do not know if it is possible to have several plugins dealing with registered users running simultaneously in the same WordPress site or if there are too many potential troubles besides slowing down the site. I tried to find information about this matter but I have not been able to find anything really useful or conclusive, perhaps because I have not searched the right way.

I know that this is not a matter of this support forum but, since I have been unable to find clear responses to my doubts, I would appreciate very much any recommendation or advice about it or simply any reference to any source of information related to it.

Thank you very much for your great support and plugins.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

I don’t know pepso, but all other plugins mentioned deal with the regular wp users, so they shouldn’t create problem on that side.

If you want my suggestion, do not do that. You should never install that many applications plugins together, unless you have a super dedicated server and a good system administrator to constantly optimize it.

    Hi Paolo,

Thank you very much for your response and advice.

I have thought about a different approach: use multisite with subdomains and install one application plugin in each site. Then I would need to hire a developer for customization to share users, menus, widgets, etc. across sites and a good system administrator to keep everything working smoothly. May I ask you what do you think?

I appreciate very much your comments, advice, suggestions and opinions and of course I would fully understand that you consider this question as off-topic and not your business at all.

    Best regards.

In Multisite users are shared already and all the rest should be feasible without the help of a developer…

I would definitely recommend to go that way.

    Thanks
