Compatibility with Directory Plus (+)

Hi guys, I may have posted this in the wrong place, apologies if I have.

I started out with the Directory Plus theme (which I really liked), but then bought Sky (by Cohhe) that integrated all of your plugins (which I love). But the theme turned out to be simplistic and clean on the frontend but extremely complicated and pants in the backend.

So I have reverted back to the Directory Plus theme but now the GeoDirectory stuff has gone missing in places. I’d really like to use the plugins from you and the theme from AIT (Directory Plus in this case).

Is there a more in depth way of checking the compatibility or a guide on how to integrate them.

PS: I am a designer, not developer.

I have bought the full plugin package for a few months to ensure it does what we want first.
