Hi
I have a WordPress Page (www.guasch.eu) with BuddyPress plugin.
When the administrator active GEODIRECTORY plugin, my users lose his main menú.
I am administrator and I have created a PLACE.
If I want to enter in the place that I have created, the page also tell me “error”.
John (from http://www.poshweb.co.uk) tell me: You can get the plugin “Geodirectory Enfold Theme Compatibility Pack” (https://wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory-enfold-theme-compatibility-pack/)
I Have also installed this plugin but the problems persist.
Also, before to installing “Geodirectory Enfold Theme Compatibility Pack” I can see the “General Map” and now, after to installing the plugin of compatibility I cannot see the map.
Can you help me? Can you to have a look?
I have sent URL and wp admin credentials at the Paolo Taiani mail.
Thank’s very much.December 16, 2014 at 11:37 am #24466You can post URL and wp admin credentials here in a private message.
I registered and tried to add a listing, but so far you have not set your default location, so you will not be able to add listings, see also
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/basic-installation/#location
That might also fix the map, or you might need to add the widgets still.I can see what seems to be the main menu on every page. So not sure what you mean.
You also will need to review this if you are using BuddyPress.

I forgot to post this link before:
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/redirecting-the-login-page/
Also, I suggest to use a child theme to prevent losing any modifications if there is an update to your main theme.December 16, 2014 at 1:25 pm #24500Hi,
After all, thank’s very much for your support.I have followed indication about correct installation (http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/basic-installation/#location)
I have set my default location, etc etc…
Now I can see “general map”, Places, etc. etc…
But there is a problem: my users can’t see “GENERAL MENÚ”.
In the previous mail I don’t explain very well…
GENERAL MENÚ is not the follow:
(Inicio – Nosotros – Forums – Grupos etc. etc.)
GENERAL MENÚ is:
(INICIAR SESIÓN – REGISTRARSE) —- (for no user)
(SOY SOSTENIBLE – NUEVO – etc. etc) (for administrator and users)
I add pictures so you can understand mi.You have created a new user:
Name: GuestCan you add a new place with your user?
I think you can’t…I can with administration user, but I can’t with my “normal test user”.
In the follow message I add dates of my “normal test usur”, so you can to do a test with my “normal test user”. But you also can do a test with your user (Guest).
I hope your answer.
Thank’s very much.

Just added http://guasch.eu/places/spain/balearic-islands/palma/feature/guust/ from the frontend as a normal user.
All seems to work well.
You should add GD links to your menu:
GD > design > navigation > choose menu
I have added that, but you can adjust if you like.December 16, 2014 at 8:51 pm #24566Hi,
The page show the “BuddyPress Bar” when logged out.
But when a “Normal User” log in, the “BuddyPress Bar” disappears… and the “Normal User” can’t click for add a new entry in the blog, add a new event, look message and notifications, etc. etc.
And when a “Administrator user” log in, the “BuddyPress Bar” will be showed,so the administrator can add a new entry in the blog, add a new event, look message and notifications, etc. etc.
Now, the “Normal User” can add a new place in GEODIRECTORY but can’t add and can’t see the other things.
I add the pictures, so you can understand me.
After installed GEODIRECTORY PLUGIN, “Normal User” has lost “BuddyPress Bar”.
How can I recover the “BuddyPress Bar” for the “Normal User”?
Can you help me?December 16, 2014 at 9:20 pm #24574hi,
I think the problem is that the buddypress toolbar extend the wordpress toolbar and if wp admin is restricted the toolbar is hidden too.
Just go to GeoDirectory >> General and where it says:
Allow user to see wp-admin area enable : Yes
That should make the bp toolbar visible to logged in users.
Let us know,
Thx
