I think it would be a great idea to also create “working plugins” sticky post that users can post successfully compatibility with geo directory.
Here are some I have had success with:
Backupbuddy
EWWW Image Optimizer
OIOpublisher Ad Manager
PHP Code Widget
Theme My Login
SEO by Yoast
WangGard
WPBakery Visual Composer
WPML Multilingual CMSPlease voting +1 for Buddypress plugin support in the future.
Thanks to the development team for their great work.

September 14, 2014 at 6:37 am #15303Wouldn’t it be better to change the topic to “conflicting plugins” ? Because I think it would be more useful (for the developers and the users) to know what to avoid than what works (cause anybody uses wp geodirectory in other ways).
Just my thoughts…
November 4, 2014 at 1:29 pm #20525Yoast is my view, is not compatible.
When I use it?
My home page title is populated with the title of the most recent post title.
Had to uninstall

There are plenty of GD users using Yoast SEO, including myself, without any problems at all. Maybe it is a conflict with your theme, or a setting in Yoast?November 4, 2014 at 3:01 pm #20545I am using the standard theme as supplied by geodirectory.
Turns out, it was becuase i had not left the setting for home page as “display posts” instead setting it to a particular page.
As soon as I modified that… all was good in the world.

in my case i do plan to make some translation works very soon et buy
WPML to do so.
Is it compatible with GD now ?
Thanks

November 13, 2014 at 2:28 pm #21396Hmmm… but yoast can have no effect on locations… and these are perhaps the worst pages of all.
a. titles are rubbish and impossible to set.
b. no meta description.
c. no ability to set them as no index/follow.all of which would be possible, if location pages were custom post pages created by the plugin that yoast could effect.
