    I created a CPT Labeled Places To Stay but misspelled the Post Type as Palce.
    I went back to edit the Post Type but can’t do it.
    Q1> Why can’t I?
    I would like to titled the Post Type Places To Stay.
    Q2> Is this possible? I previously tried but the system was telling there was something wrong on the post. ??/
    Q3> What exactly should I enter in Post Type and Listing slug?

    Hi,

    isn’t it obvious?

    It says below the field: The new post type system name ( max. 17 characters ). Lower-case characters and underscores only. Min 2 letters. Once added the post type system name cannot be changed.

    That is because it creates a database table with that name and database tables cannot be renamed so easily.

    You need to delete it and create it correctly.

    p.s. you should use a different name that Place as Place is the default CPT.

    I did try to titled it “places to stay” (without the ” “) but system kept telling I could not

    I will try again!

    it cannot have spaces:

    Lower-case characters and underscores only. Min 2 letters

    should be places_to_stay
