CPT Categories widget

    when i am using the CPT categories widget, and i have alot of categories they all show in the listing bottom section, is there a way to show like 10 and a see more categories tab? if you have alot of categories it takes alot of room to show them all and i just want like 10 to show.

    No, that is not possible by default. You can limit the categories with the Popular Categories widget, but not the CPT Categories widget.

    but there is no option to set popular categories to not show subcategories,

    Hi,

    what you want to do isn’t possible with current options.

    The CPT category widget was built to create index page of catgeories, very popular in old school directories.

    The Popular category widget is to show the most active categories (sub or parent doesn’t matter) and it can be limited to show a defined number of items.

    well i can not figure out how to just make popular category just show my sub categories like you state it can do

    Paolo stated that it shows the most active categories, regardless of them being parents or children.
    What you want to do isn’t possible with current options.
