I have added the widget to the GD listings left sidebar. It shows on some CPTs but not others in Edge and Chrome. It shows them all in Firefox. Really strange.

Also, question, once it’s figured out why some and not others in certain browsers, how do I get them to show once a category is clicked on, on the actual categories listing page(s)? It only shows on the main CPT listing page.

It used to work fine. I had been away from this site for a few months and after updating plugins, etc. I noticed this. Yes, I did go in and force remove old versions.

    URL in private message next.

    Thank you!

If you want it to show on all Listings pages:
Appearance > Widgets > GD Listings Sidebar > CPT categories widget > TICK “Don’t filter for current viewing category”

Ok, thank you for this! But, I still cannot see the CPT categories in left sidebar from main nav links Places To Eat, Places To Stay, The Arts in Chrome and Edge. This hasn’t changed.

And oddly, after ticking “Don’t filter for current viewing post type”, just to see what it does, if I click “vacation rentals” under Places to Stay in main nav (dropdown), the sidebar shows the category/subcategories for “places”, which I have named “Marketplace”, not Places to Stay, in Chrome or Edge. I unticked it, saved, and yet they still show. Sigh!!!

What do you see? Which browser are you using?

I get the same in any browser, all looks fine. I think you just need to do a good refresh, or reset caching etc.
If you give a URL of a “bad” page, I can give you a screenshot.
Post WP admin details if we need to check settings.
